The Climate Change Adaptation Workshop will feature presentations from leading experts on climate change adaptation, as well as panel discussions and breakout sessions where participants can learn about specific adaptation strategies and share their own experiences. The workshop will also provide an opportunity for participants to network with each other and build relationships that can support them in their adaptation efforts. The Chesapeake Bay region is already experiencing the impacts of climate change, including sea level rise, more frequent and intense storms, and changes in precipitation patterns. These impacts are expected to become more severe in the future, and climate change adaptation is essential for protecting communities and businesses in the region. The Chesapeake Bay Program’s climate change adaptation workshop is an important opportunity for people in the region to learn about the latest science and research on climate change adaptation, and to develop strategies for adapting to the changing climate.
