Multiple Tributary Models for the Assessment of 2035 Climate Change Risk and Other Water Quality Challenges
This RFA is seeking insightful, expert, and cost-effective applications from eligible applicants to apply a state-of-the science unstructured grid model to the tidal waters for two of Chesapeake’s tributaries (Choptank and Patapsco) and their embayments (referred to as Multiple Tributary Model or MTM). EPA intends to award up to two cooperative agreements, one for each tributary. Applications must only address one tributary. Applicants interested in applying for funding to address more than one tributary must do so in separate applications.

View RFPTechnical Analysis and Programmatic Evaluation Support to the Chesapeake Bay Program Partnership
This RFA is seeking insightful, expert, and cost-effective applications from eligible applicants to provide technical analysis and programmatic evaluation support of non-federal agencies and organizations that are members of the Chesapeake Bay Program (CBP) partnership. While the CBP partnership is comprised of federal and nonfederal agencies and organizations, the activities funded under this RFA shall only support the non-federal partners. The recipient of the cooperative agreement awarded under this RFA may work directly with federal agencies, but the nature of that work will result only in benefits to the non-federal agencies, organizations, partners, and the general public. The non-federal CBP partners will provide programmatic direction to the cooperative agreement recipient through the CBP partnership’s Water Quality Goal Implementaiton Team (GIT) and its workgroups, the CBP partnership’s Habitat GIT and its workgroups, the CBP partnership’s Fisheries GIT and its workgroups, the CBP partnership’s Scientific, Technical, Assessment and Reporting (STAR) Team and its workgroups, other CBP partnership’s GITs, and the CBP partnership’s Management Board.

- The Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund is a partnership between the Bay Program and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to strategically invest in conservation actions to restore the Bay. Grant opportunities include Innovative Nutrient and Sediment Reduction grants and Small Watershed grants.
- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Bay Watershed Education and Training grants support Chesapeake watershed environmental education programs and professional development for teachers on Bay-related environmental topics. NOAA also provides funding to restore habitat for coastal and anadromous fisheries.
- The Chesapeake Bay Trust offers individual grant programs to support Chesapeake restoration and protection activities in Maryland.
- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency provides a variety of grant programs and funding opportunities, as well as regional grants.
