Purpose
The Chesapeake Executive Council will preview the draft Chesapeake 2000 Agreement for citizens and the press Directions to Arlington Echo Outdoor Recreation Center From Baltimore: Take 695 to 97 South/Annapolis. From 97 South, take Exit 10A Benfield Blvd./Severna Park. At the foot of the ramp, merge RIGHT onto Veteran’s Highway. (NOTE: There is a traffic light there. The merge is before the light.) Proceed on Veteran’s Highway approximately 1.5 miles and make a LEFT onto General’s Highway/Rt. 178. (NOTE: This left-hand turn is just past Shoeless Joe’s and JED Auto Sales, which are both on the left.) Proceed .7 miles on General’s Highway and turn LEFT onto Indian Landing Rd. (NOTE: There is a stone church and a blinking light at this intersection.) Proceed 1.5 miles to the end of Indian Landing Rd. and turn RIGHT into the education center. Parking is just inside the gate. From The DC-Metro Area: Take Rt. 50 East toward Annapolis. From Rt. 50, take Exit 23 Parole/450 to 178. Stay in the RIGHT lane and merge onto Rt. 450. Continue straight on Rt. 450 through the traffic lights at Jennifer Road, Defense Hwy. and Bestgate Rd. (NOTE: You will pass Annapolis Mall on your right.) Rt. 450 becomes Rt. 178/General’s Hwy. just past the light at Bestgate Rd. Follow Rt. 178/General’s Hwy. for about seven miles and look for the sign directing you to stay on General’s Hwy. It will be on the RIGHT. (NOTE: There is a traffic light at this intersection where the road splits. DO NOT take 97 North.) Follow General’s Highway for about 1.8 miles and make a RIGHT onto Indian Landing Rd. (NOTE: There is a stone church and a blinking light at this intersection.) Proceed 1.5 miles to the end of Indian Landing Rd. and turn RIGHT into the education center. Parking is just inside the gate.Related Files:
