About the author
Sadie Francis is a creative biophilic consultant who currently resides in the Wissahickon Watershed. After receiving her MPA in environmental science and policy from Columbia University and the Earth Institute, she managed communications for the Geothermal Technology Program at the US Department of Energy, consulted for the Philadelphia Water Department on their green infrastructure plan, and founded a green community center in a historic train station. She is an environmental artist, working primarily in foraged botanicals and insects, and activist. In her spare time she plants trees and hosts moss walks in the Wissahickon Park.
