What a terrific article and thank you Carla for posting. We know Butternut Valley is a treasure & so appreciate all those who help to protect & preserve this unique & beautiful valley.
WOW! Great article. But I remember a highway sign on a back road leading OUT of Apalachicola, FL: "Don't tell anybody where you've been." You might see one for Butternuts.
What a beautiful insight into this rural area. I’m pleased to see this area is so rich and healthy in its environment. Now I know that my niece’s family picked a perfect place to live.
Beautiful. Makes me homesick.
an inspiring and beautiful article..
I'm grateful for all the work people are doing both together and apart...
Will, this is a beautiful story with amazing photos. I really would love to visit this part of the watershed. I know so little about it.
Best,
