Allison Welch

Allison is an Environmental Management Staffer with the Chesapeake Research Consortium, working with the Scientific, Technical Assessment and Reporting (STAR) Team, Criteria Assessment Protocol Workgroup, Data Integrity Workgroup, Bay Oxygen Research Group and Hypoxia Collaborative. Allison graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2024 with a degree in Earth Sciences, a minor in Sustainability, and a certificate in Geographic Information Sciences. Upon graduation, she joined the Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps where she was placed with the Maryland Clean Energy Center. Allison’s passion for the Bay comes from a childhood spent on the Potomac River and a love for science.
