Daniel Koval
Daniel Koval joined the Chesapeake Research Consortium in 2024, as staff to the Chesapeake Bay Program’s Fostering Chesapeake Stewardship Goal Implementation Team. As a staffer, Daniel supports the Diversity, Protected Lands, and Public Access workgroups. Daniel graduated in 2024 from the University of Rochester with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Public Health and a minor in Environmental Humanities. Prior to joining CRC, Daniel held internships at GreenRoots, Inc. in Chelsea, MA, where he worked with the Comunidades Enraizadas Community Land Trust on housing and climate justice, and at the Westside Farmers Market in Rochester, NY, as a Rochester Urban Fellow. Daniel is originally from the eastern shore of Maryland and is passionate about environmental conservation and urban planning.
