Katie Ayers

Katie is an Environmental Protection Specialist with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Her primary responsibilities include assisting in the coordination of the Enhance Partnering, Leadership and Management Goal Implementation Team and data progress reporting for the Chesapeake Bay Program’s goals and outcomes. Throughout her career, Katie has focused on working with local communities, nonprofit organizations, and federal and state agencies to administer habitat restoration programs on public and private lands. She is passionate about connecting people with the outdoors and developing sustainable solutions to environmental challenges. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a minor in Geographic Information Science from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale.
