Nick Staten joined the Chesapeake Research Consortium in August 2024 as staff to the Chesapeake Bay Program’s Protect and Restore Vital Habitats Goal Implementation Team. As a Habitat GIT staffer, Nick will coordinate important conversations with partners involved in the Stream Health, Brook Trout, and Fish Passage workgroups. Nick earned a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland, with a lot of experience in multidisciplinary teamwork from his experiences in undergraduate research and consulting.
