Im an Army veteran here in Santa Fe New Mexico.
This article echoes everything that I think or feel about fly fishing.
I get almost the same focus and calming by tying flys.
We have a veteran run nonprofit called Awolanglers. We recently had a tournement.
I recently started fishing with a fellow Cav Scout that I met at the tourney.
I would really like to see organizations like this to network all across the country.
