Underwater grasses grow in the Susquehanna Flats near Havre de Grace, Md. The plants provide habitat for wildlife and help remove sediment from the water column. (Photo by Will Parson/Chesapeake Bay Program)
Great news about grass resurgence. As a matter of fact for the first time in over 20 years of living on ( tidal creek) the bay I have a huge growth of underwater vegetation along my waterfront in Virginia. I would appreciate it if someone there could identify this vegetation if I attach a pic. Thanks.
