Sushanth works with the Chesapeake Research Consortium (CRC) as one of two Environmental Management Development Program (EMDP) Staffers supporting the Chesapeake Bay Program’s Water Quality Goal Implementation Team (WQGIT). After receiving a Bachelors of Science in Agricultural and Resource Economics and minor in Spanish Literature, Linguistics, and Culture from the University of Maryland, College Park in May 2022, Sushanth served in the Chesapeake Conservation Corps, placed with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) prior to his current role. An (almost) lifelong Marylander, Sushanth has spent countless hours exploring, appreciating, and giving back to the Bay Watershed. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, learning more about the world around him, spending time outdoors, and hosting.
