Stream Health, Fish Passage, Brook Trout, and Proposed Non-tidal Fish Habitat Outcome Discussion

    Monday, April 7, 2025 from 11:00am - 12:00pm

To discuss if and how certain outcomes (Brook Trout, Fish Habitat / Non-Tidal Fish Habitat, Fish Passage, Stream Health) should be consolidated/reclassified and develop a recommendation to provide at the April 10 Management Board meeting.

Considerations for consolidation/reclassification: Increase opportunity for collaboration, improve efficiency, and “do no harm.”

This meeting is meant to address the charge given in the March 27th Management Board meeting:

"GIT leadership and signatory Management Board members who have participating members in these outcomes, along with their practitioners, will convene with as many attendees as it is feasible to discuss synergies and alignments between the Brook Trout, Stream Health, Fish Passage, and the proposed Nontidal Fish Habitat Outcomes before the April 10, 2025 Management Board meeting. The Habitat GIT will convene this conversation with support from the Chesapeake Bay Commission and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, including utilizing a Pennsylvania Facilitator."

Fish Passage Special Session: Outcome Assessment

    Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 1:00pm - 2:00pm

The Habitat Goal Implementation Team has been tasked by the Chesapeake Bay Program Management Board to discuss our outcomes and their role in a post-2025 Bay Program.

In reviewing our outcomes, we must provide recommendations to the Management Board on whether "to consolidate, reduce, update, remove, replace or add new outcomes".

During this special sessions we will discuss the Kellogg Foundation’s Logic Model and it would be beneficial for workgroup members to come to the special sessions with an understanding of the distinction between input, output, and outcome, so we can discuss where the workgroup fits. This is what will be discussed during the Habitat GIT office hours on December 20th.

Please reach out to Nick Staten for the meeting invite.
